Hesed clinic is an outpatient clinic located in western part of Kenya in Nyanza province, Siaya County, Ugenya district, Sihay division, North East Ugenya location, Ramunde sub-location, Nyangungu village.
The main objective of our health program is to reduce mortality and morbidity rates among target population.
Our focus will be two: to put strategies that would increase number of deliveries with skilled birth attendants and increased utilization of prenatal care with focus on full immunization and achieving 4th ANC clinic visits.
The projects ensure an integrated approach to ensure that social and economic capacities enhance the health of the people.
Another strategy is increasing access to quality health services through mobile /outreach clinics in the rural Kenya.
The services offered are:
Maternal, neonatal and child health
HIV/AIDS testing and counseling
Reproductive health services and education
Nutrition counseling to mothers
Cervical Cancer screening
Community health & hygiene education
The project is committed to all the health related Millennium Development Goals with focus on numbers 4 and 5.
